Possible Spoilers
I found something interesting on The Hanso Foundation site just now. If you click on the picture of Alvar Hanso, a short movie starts playing. It resembles the computer screen when Michael is chatting with “Walt” but has a different ending.
If you don’t mind a possible spoiler (season 2), check the site and return here to read my thoughts.
Welcome back!
As you now have seen, the short movie ends with the word “mole”. If the Hanso Foundation site’s only purpose is to confuse us and keep the hype up, or if it contains real clues, we do not know. But assuming that it is a real clue, we now know that the person who Michael is chatting with either is called Mole, or he/she is telling him that there is a mole in the group of survivors.
A mole in the group is certainly possible, and even quite probable as it would make the show more intense. Just imagine if word leaked out among the survivors that there was a mole among them. As if these people don’t have enough reasons to be paranoid already.
Now, who could the mole be?
My first bet would be Libby but I’m not sure. As we remember, Libby told Ana-Lucia that Nathan “creeped her out” when Ana-Lucia started getting suspicious of a tail-section mole. Could this have been an attempt to protect herself and Goodwin? Libby is also a clinical psychologist and we know that the island is a research facility, so draw your own conclusions. I would exclude all characters who we have seen in flashbacks from the list of potential Others, so if I’m not mistaken, that leaves Libby, Rose, Bernard and all the characters who have remained in the background.
Even if the facts above could point to Libby being a mole, I don’t really believe she is. She just seems to be too nice and friendly. And let’s not forget that Hurley has his eyes set on her.
Either way around, you can never take Lost for granted, so keep you eyes peeled and stay paranoid.

dig.com is the Disney Internet Group domain. If you go to http://www.dig.com you end up at the Walt Disney Internet Group newsroom.
Disney, of course, in turn, owns ABC.

This post refers to the old Hanso Foundation website. The picture and this particular secret message can not be seen on the current Hanso site.
awe…that suxxors!! is there any way to get to the old site er no?
I was just looking at the new Flash site. I started hitting Tab to highlight clickable links and found a hidden spot to the bottom left of the interface window. Clicking it only appears to move the background spotlights around, but I have a crappy connection at home. Someone with some juice give it a try.

The same thing happens here and I’m on a high speed connection. It’s possible that the link could have some other function, but like you, I’ve only been able to make it move the background.

The design company that made the website used to have a copy on their server but it’s not working anymore. It used to be located at http://www.bigspaceship.com/archive/hanso/
A bunch of people say that you have to use the password ‘breakins strain’ when you send joop a message and im sure people have already figured this out but it doesnt really matter what you send to joop as long as it is something. Just pointing this out. Oh and i got the same result as you both for the hidden light changing button at the bottom left of the page.
Hi! Can I, take some images from your website for my degree work??
