'Lost' producers lobby for scheduling change

According to Digital Spy, Damon Lindelof is trying to persue ABC to change Lost’s schedule to decrease the amount of reruns.

“We’re lobbying ABC for when the show is on, it’s on, and when it’s off, it’s off,” exec producer Damon Lindelof told E! Online. “So, we want to air it in three acts next year. You know, blocks of seven, seven and eight. But in order to do that, we have to roll the show out in October instead of September, and hopefully that will work out.”

Hopefully the studio executives will listen to Damon and all the Lost fans who have gotten tired of the massive amount of reruns.

I would not mind waiting in exchange for some consistency.

The current block of 4 that we’re in the middle of now is great, if it were 7 or 8 that really keep the pace of the show going and there would be alot less disappointment (relatively speaking) at character episodes like “The Whole Truth”.

Good things come to those who wait! Sounds like a much better plan than how the season is playing out this year. Nice to know they listen to the fans’ concerns as well. :o )

My wife and I are Lost fans with one major difference. I am looking for a conclusion so I can solve the mysteries, while my wife would like it to last forever. Last weeks episode seems to follow my wife’s view. Two new characters were introduced for no apparent reason. Sure, there will no doubt be some sort of meaningful connection, but why bother? It seemed to be a cheap trick to extend the series. Are we now going to go to double flashbacks, where we flashback to characters when they were 10 years old Give me a break! Let’s move on!
