So any thoughts on the mention of "Geronimo Jackson" in tonights episode? Signifigance or merely producers having fun?
when i saw the shirt i started to think about it, however i reckon its writers having fun, i recall the writers talking about that record cover in last years podcasts,

i enjoyed the last show,( rewatched it 3 times) however as most said it was a little short, and had more questions then answers, (but whats new in that).

i reckon the locke flash backs were after the dramas off his old man and hes lost love helen, but could be wrong, reson is that this dad was hunting fan and he was in a class to help his anger., 2 points he said at the lunch table.plus he never used guns to my knowledge b4 he meet his dad..

to answer the person he was asking way Dez says brother alot, thats a old english/ scotish saying. ive heard the brother saying in old clockwork orange and other pommy shows.another word like mate,.

- Spoiler removed by admin.

i believe the others are not that good.i reckon their evil,

thats my 2 cents worth.

One significant thing that hasn't been discussed yet is the new faces on Lost. Paulo and Nikki, specially Paulo.
The thing is, the guy that plays Paulo (Rodrigo Santoro) is a famous brazilian actor (I'm brazilian - very happy about watching him on Lost). By the name of his character and also, in a interview Rodrigo said that producers weren't concerned about his accent, so my guess is Paulo is a brazilian and gosh, this has to have something to do with the portuguese-speaking guys at the end of the second season.

oh, another something: in that same interview, Rodrigo hinted that his character will grow in the series, he has a past, mabe will have an episode with flashbacks on himself, so he is significant.

What if "Lift up your eyes and look north - John 3:05" is "John, lift up your eyes and look north" or a similar very direct instruction for Locke?
Indeed! Perhaps a compass direction is meant. Someone else may want to clarify, but I believe NW begins at heading 310. From 270 up to 309 would be increments of W. (WNW [West North West]) being 300, I think). So...305 would be part of "look West". Interestingly, Genesis includes all the Cardinal directions: "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west."

Monica said, "2. Locke wakes up, Desmond is running around naked and the polar bear has dragged off Eko. Did anyone notice that while all this is happening, poof!, Eko’s stick falls out of the air? Why did it fall after the 3 people have already been on the ground for a while?"

And MK responded, "The stick got caught in the tree. The right gust of wind made it drop from the tree. How it got there is a total mystery. It should have been heavily damaged regardless."

But there is also the writing on Eko's stick. Here is what I think is written there: Near the top left is (I think) "Hab. 1.3" If that is what it says this would be Habakkuk 1.3 which reads "Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds."

In the top left is also a partial quote from (also scratched in) Gen. 13.14 "Lift up your eyes and look north..."

In the upper right is "John 3:05" which is very strange because you would never see a Bible passage so referenced. It would normally be "John 3:5" Why 3:05??

Also on the right side, but upside down is "Acts 4.12". This one is very interesting since it meshes with what John later asks Eko after he has "saved" him from the Polar Bear cave. Acts 4.12 is "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." This, of course refers to Jesus Christ - but does John apply it to himself? Is this why he laments to Eko that he "could have saved them" to which Eko replies, "...you still can save them" ???

Nearer to the bottom and I the left is "Rom. 6.12" which is "Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal bodies so that you obey its evil desires."

Of course, at the very bottom of the scratched on section are some of "the numbers", 4:8:15

Are all of these verses part of the "Further Instructions" of this episode?
Todd Sanders had a great observation about conversing with trees. So I observe that in Lost, EVERYTHING happens for a reason.
Maybe there are cameras hidden in parts of the trees that Ben/the Others have access to- and they're watching the survivors from not just inside the hatch.
Did anyone else notice that Locke's long, haired pot farmer friend from the flash back and Zeke from the others(used to wear a fake beard) look like the same person. I noticed he looks familiar- but I can't point out how. Too bad this is the first week ever I forgot to record it:(
