I hope they dont try to make a plot line out of the gay thing. Not only is a characters orientation somthing that really isn’t relivent to anything so far in lost, but also, it would probobly bring up stupid lose ends that they could give an answer to and avoid giving answers to importent questions.
Dont get me wrong, im not some Homophobic, i just dont think that someone coming out would be theme that relates to lost.

Andreas, I agree that your realignment hypothesis is likely correct.

However, I could have pointed out that there are three (perhaps more) assumptions (to this particular question) made by the maker of the map: First, that a smaller island does exist; second, that the island is NE of the dock which is on the NW side of the big island; and third, that Michael and Walt, following a direct course of 325 ended up (strait away) on that Island. Given what I (and You) seem to remember, that departing the dock Michael goes left of the dock, all three of the above cannot be correct.

I suppose the better point is to ask which is wrong? Is there truly a smaller island? Is it in fact 325 degrees from the dock (I doubt it), and, are Michael and Walt on the smaller island, incarcerated somewhere and we have not been shown this yet?

I think you’re right Pastor2churches. We probably can’t view this map as 100% accurate, but it looks like the overall placements could be correct.

Maybe the dock should be rotated and positioned a bit higher and to the right?

I have never seen that map before. Having looked at it I wonder about something – maybe someone can clarify: When Ben gave Michael the heading, 325, didn’t Michael and Walt head off in what would be off to the left of the end of the dock? The map shows the dock on what would be the NW side of the “big” island and the small island NE (325) from the end of the dock. But I think the map has the dock on the wrong side of the big island, assuming my recollection is correct about which way FROM-the-DOCK Michael departed (to the left of the end of the dock) and assuming that direction was 325 degrees?
Understand? Can anyone clarify this?

Ross. I am pretty certain we will see Walt and Michael again. Ben is convinced Walt is a special boy, so why would the Others let them go? Anyway, I found this link to a map of the island. I’m not saying this is correct because it is probably somebody making this up. However, it does give an outlook to where Walt and Michael may have ended up. Visit the link below:
