I’m afraid that the Pit bull desires a particular type of owner…these pet dogs, regardless of how ‘supportive’ nevertheless have teeth, are still creatures without having moral concepts and when they DO bite, won’t allow go. As in all creatures…some tend to be a lot more suseptable to instinctual habits and time and time once again, this breed tends to complete just that.

There is an audio Mother’s Day podcast from D&C…no more spoilerish than a normal podcast, but stay away if you are “spoiler free”. But it reminded me of the questioning of the DHARMA food drops we have debated here before.

I am thinking that we haven’t had a DHARMA food drop since the turning of the key…right? Maybe more support that the turning of the key has stopped island time and it’s taking longer to get a drop? I know it’s weak, but I like this theory almost as much as the Whisperers. “g”

I agree with that, Hammer. Although we ultimately may find out the Boone is one of the “undead”.

In general, I think we shouldn’t read too much into the “undead” term that D&C used. And I don’t think you can use any real-world-based definition of “undead” that you might think of and apply it to what happens on Lost. I think D&C chose to use that somewhat ambiguous term to describe some of the strange happenings that we have witnessed (appearances of CS, Yemi, and the horse), and then offer a sort of disclaimer that the term dead means something different on Lost. I’m sure they didn’t want to use a more accurate word than “undead”, nor did they want to go into a more detailed explanation of what they mean by “undead”, because that would give away more secrets than they want to give out at this time. And like Hammer has said, it’s likely that the explanation ties into the explanation of the Whispers.[/quote]

LOL I tried a strategy of staying a week behind, waiting until after the SNBH episode aired before reading the TSOTTC thread. But reading the comments here is so addictive I couldn’t hold off on reading the SNBH thread. It’s like Lays potato chips – noone can read just one.

That’s funny. In an interveiw with D&C last week on G4, they compared Smokey and it’s actions to a Pitbull.
Damon: “the smoke monster’s like a pitbull, you know, if you let it off it’s leash..”
Carlton: “it’ll bite somebody”
Damon: “the chances of it attacking you, are just as great as it attacking someone else”
Carlton: “maybe it’s a little less likely to attack Ben, but its not like it does tricks”.

i’ve only read the last 100 comments, so forgive me if this is redundant.

so this is the first time we’ve seen Island Christian when he wasn’t wearing the suit…any thoughts?
i looked at old pics to see if maybe that’s what he wore the last time claire saw him, but i don’t think that’s the case….the lighting made it hard to tell.

also, regarding desmond’s flashes/claire getting on the chopper…i DO think they meant something because those scenarios DID come true, but he intervened. however, they all involved charlie’s death, so i wonder if it will pan out the same since he’s dead.
